The Collective heART is a shared space between three women-owned businesses. We are a creative community and gift shop centered around ART. We feature a gift shop of handmade and curated goods in the front of our store as well as a creative studio classroom in the back for all sorts of art and creative experience classes.

The Collective heART is a place for creativity, for community, and for connection in downtown Ottawa, Kansas. In our shared space, we invite local artists to sell their handmade goods with us. About 90% of our gift shop is made up of items made in Kansas. We currently have around 45 artists and are always looking to add more. Many of these artists teach classes at our store as well. These classes include: painting, sculpting, stained glass, polymer clay jewelry, polymer clay bead making, resin, diy door hangers, upcycled projects, resin jewelry, and more!

Our store is open Wed-Sat from 10am-7pm. We also stay open late til 8pm every Third Thursday between April-Oct as a part of the Ottawa Main Street Association's Third Thursdays on Main event. We have two couches in store for those who need a comfy place to get out of the heat or cold. We have an Art book library of 100s of different kinds of mediums to spark your creativity and artists in store to help you too. We offer $5 Fridays for kids of all ages with over 50 kinds of craft kits to choose from. We have painting projects that range from $3-$45 for kids, teens, and adults as well as some fun building block kits, and air-dry clay kits too. We are also adding some fun Kid Classes taught by Kid Artists starting this fall! We really do have something for everyone!
