September is National Pediatric Cancer Awareness Month, a time to shine a light on the brave children and families who face the unimaginable. At Talk of the Town Nutrition in Paola, this cause is especially close to our hearts.
Bree’s sweet daughter, Aurora, was diagnosed with stage four neuroblastoma the day after her first birthday. After a courageous fight, Aurora was called back to heaven in September 2023. We honor her this month and every month, along with all the children who continue to fight—and those who are now angels.

To keep Aurora’s light shining and to support local families, we are collecting new toys, activities, and non-perishable food items throughout the month of September. These donations will be delivered to Children’s Mercy at the end of the month, bringing comfort and joy to families during difficult times.
