If you've ever talked to a teacher about what they spend each year on their own classroom, you know it's a lot more than most people realize. Crayons, books, flexible seating, basic classroom supplies that should be covered but somehow never quite are. So much of it comes straight out of their own pocket, and they rarely make a big deal about it.
This back-to-school season, we want to change that, even if it's just a little. We're inviting families across Baldwin City, Bucyrus, De Soto, Edgerton, Eudora, Fontana, Gardner, Greeley, Hillsdale, Lacygne, Lane, Lawrence, Louisburg, New Century, Osawatomie, Ottawa, Paola, Parker, Princeton, Rantoul, Spring Hill, Stilwell and Wellsville to come together and support these everyday heroes in a way that actually helps: by clearing classroom wishlists.

Why Supporting Local Teacher Wishlists Matters
It's easy to forget how much teachers give of themselves, not just their time and patience, but their own money, year after year, just to make sure their students have what they need. A pack of markers or a set of flexible seating cushions might not seem like much on its own, but when a whole community starts chipping in, it adds up to something real.
